Kent Closed Championships
All players entering this competition must hold a current BJA or BJA affiliated membership with KENT shown as the county. This event will be used to select the Kent squad and teams for the Southern Area Inter-County Championships to be held on Sunday 14 May at Donyings, Redhill, Surrey
GROUP A – BOYS 8-15 YEARS: (NO ARMLOCKS OR STRANGLES)
u30kg, u34kg, u38kg, u42kg, u46kg, u50kg, u55kg, u60kg, u66kg, 66kg
GROUP B – GIRLS 8-15 YEARS: (NO ARMLOCKS OR STRANGLES)
U28kg, u32kg, u36kg, u40kg, u44kg, u48kg, u52kg, u57kg, u63kg, 63kg
GROUP C – SENIOR Kyu Grade (nov-2nd kyu) – Minimum age 14
Men: u66kg, u73kg, u81kg, u90kg, u100kg, 100kg
GROUP D – SENIOR Dan Grade (1st kyu and above) – Minimum age 14
Men: u66kg, u73kg, u81kg, u90kg, u100kg, 100 kg
GROUP E – SENIOR Women (Kyu and Dan Grades)
Categories according to weight and whether kyu/dan grade to be sorted on the day.
Inter County Teams Senior weight groups
Men: u66kg, u81kg, u100kg, 100 kg Women: u57kg, u70kg, 70kg
WEIGH-IN: All competitors must bring their record book and licence for proof of grade. Please make sure your licence is in date
All competitors are asked to weigh-in in judo trousers and t-shirt, weight allowance given
GROUP A: 8.45- 9.15am GROUP B: 11.00-11.15 am
Both groups will have 0.6kg allowance
GROUP C, D and E: 1.00-1.30pm
Men: 0.6kg allowance to u66kg, 0.8kg thereafter
Women: 0.6kg allowance to u63kg, 0.8kg thereafter

Method: 7 players and under pools. 8 players and above compound knockout
BJA rules will apply throughout the competition. Any rules incorporated after the issue of this entry form will also apply.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entries and to combine any weight group should this be necessary. In the event of a dispute the Tournament Director’s decision is FINAL.
