Kent Closed Championships 2026
All players entering this competition must hold a current BJA or BJA affiliated membership and be registered with a KENT club. Groups C, D, E, F and G will be used to assist with the selection of the Kent squad and teams for the Southern Area Inter-County Championships to be held on 10 May 2026 at Woking Leisure Centre
GROUP A – BOYS 8 – 15 years inclusive, Novice to 6th Mon
Boys – u27kg, u30kg, u34kg, u38kg, u42kg, u46kg, u50kg, u55kg, u60kg, u66kg, +66kg
GROUP B – GIRLS 8 – 15 years inclusive, Novice to 6th Mon
Girls – u28kg, u32kg, u36kg, u40kg, u44kg, u48kg, u52kg, u57kg, u63kg, +63kg

GROUP F – SENIOR Dan Grade Men (1st kyu and above) – Minimum age 14
Men: u66kg, u73kg, u81kg, u90kg, u100kg, +100 kg
GROUP G – SENIOR Kyu Grade Women (nov-2nd kyu) – Minimum age 14

Inter County Teams Senior weight groups – Men: u66kg, u81kg, u100kg, +100 kg Women: u57kg, u70kg, +70kg
Groups A and B – medals will be given to all competitors, Groups C to H – Four medals will be given in each weight group
WEIGH-IN:
All competitors must bring their record book and licence for proof of grade. Please make sure your licence is in date
Open weigh-in – All competitors to weigh-in in judo trousers and t-shirt, weight allowance of 0.8 kg given
GROUPS A & B: 8.45- 9.15am
GROUPS C & D: 10.30 – 11.00 am
SENIOR GROUPS: 1:00 – 1:30 pm
Entry Fee: £24. No refunds will be given unless the competition is cancelled or there is no-one for a competitor to compete against.
There will be no charge for entering more than one section (if eligible). If you intend to enter more than one category please indicate on the online entry form

BJA rules will apply throughout the competition. Any rules incorporated after the issue of this entry form will also apply.
