SUMMARY:Southern Area AGM 2026
DESCRIPTION:The 2026 Southern Area Annual General Meeting, will take place on Thursday 23rd July 2026 on Zoom.\nThe meeting will start at 7 pm, with booking in from 6.45 pm.\nThe minutes of the 2025 AGM and all other documentation will be available from the Documents page of the Southern Area website. The agenda and committee reports will be posted in the ‘SA AGM Papers’ section of the website no later than Thursday 16th July 2026.\nNominations are sought for the following elected Executive Officer positions:\n\nVice-chair (four-year term)\n\nThe current Vice-Chair, Martin Rivers (Kin Ryu and Sussex) is willing to stand for re-election.\nThe role descriptions for this position can be found on the Southern Area website. Nominations can only be made by a Member Club and seconded by another Member Club and must be received no later than Thursday 9th July 2026. Nominations must also include a short judo-specific CV and outline of priorities for the Area if appointed. Please send nominations to the Secretary at secretary@sajudo.org.uk.\nAny resolutions from Member Clubs to be considered at the AGM must also be received by the Secretary no later than Thursday 9th July 2026.\nEach Member Club is entitled to one vote at the AGM. If the person carrying the vote is not the club secretary or chair, please complete the proxy voting form (available on the website) and send this to the Secretary no later than Thursday 16th July 2026.\n
