SUMMARY:National Kata Course 2026 – Ju-no-kata and kime-no-kata
DESCRIPTION:Ju-no-kata and Kime-no-kata tutored by Yoshihiko Iura-sensei, Kodokan 8th Dan\nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course\nPlaces are limited to 30 on each day\nA National Kata Course for senior judoka of any grade will take place on Saturday 21 November 2026 and Sunday 22 November 2026 at Croydon JC.\n10:00 to 16:00 both days – booking-in 0930\nExaminations from 16:30 onwards\n£30.00 per day (Saturday or Sunday), or £50.00 for both days\nThose judoka holding an attendance certificate from a previously completed British Judo course in Ju-no-kata or Kime-no-kata will have the opportunity to be continuously assessed for a BJA Level 1 certificate in that particular kata.  Higher level certificates will be subject to examination. Only holders of Level 1 may be examined for Level 2, and only holders of Level 2 may be examined for Level 3.  Only Tori will qualify for a certificate. The Kata examinations and assessments will be free of charge, however for successful candidates there will be a charge of £10 to cover the cost of issuing a Kata Certificate\nClosing date for online registration: Friday 13th November 2026.
