DESCRIPTION:This is a closed event, for Surrey registered players only\n\nCompetitors must be over 8 years of age on the day of the competition\nSenior competitors must be aged 14 years and over on the day of the competition\nAll competitors must present a valid BJA licence or a BJA affiliated association licence at the weigh-in together with proof of grade – no exceptions will be made\nMedallists may be selected for the Inter-County Teams in Woking on 10th May 2026\nNo refunds will be issued after the closing date\nGold medallists will be crowned 2026 Surrey County Champion!\n\nContest Information:\n\nArmlocks or strangles only allowed in the Senior event\nMethod of competition will be pools throughout & current BJA rules will apply\nMedals will be presented throughout the day\nCompetitors must always wear suitable footwear when off the mat\nAll players must wear a white judogi\nBJJ Gi’s are not permitted\nWhere possible, players to provide their own blue and white belts\nOnly matside qualified coaches with a valid card will be allowed matside to coach\nIn the event of any disputes, the decision of the Tournament Director will be final\nThe Tournament Director reserves the right to combine categories if necessary\nVideos and photographs may be taken on the day and used on social media\nAll players must weigh in with white t-shirt and judogi trousers with a 0.8kg allowance provided\nMales may compete in a white t shirt if they choose to do so.
