SUMMARY:National Kata Course
DESCRIPTION:Koshiki-no-kata and Kime-no-kata tutored by Yoshihiko Iura-sensei, Kodokan 8th Dan\nThis is a British Judo Association Licensed Coach Education Course\nA National Kata Course for senior judoka of any grade will take place on Saturday 23 November 2024 and Sunday 24 November 2024 at the Army School of Physical Training, Aldershot, Hampshire.\n10:00 to 16:00 both days – booking-in 0930\nExaminations from 16:30 onwards\n£30.00 per day (Saturday or Sunday), or £50.00 for both days\nThose judoka holding an attendance certificate from a previously completed British Judo course in Koshiki-no-kata or Kime-no-kata will have the opportunity to be continuously assessed for a BJA Level 1 certificate in that particular kata.  Higher level certificates will be subject to examination. Only holders of Level 1 may be examined for Level 2, and only holders of Level 2 may be examined for Level 3.  Only Tori will qualify for a certificate. The Kata examinations and assessments will be free of charge, however for successful candidates there will be a charge of £10 to cover the cost of issuing a Kata Certificate\nAn attendance certificate from either day’s course satisfies the requirements for Section 9 of the BJA Technical Dan Grade syllabus.\nClosing date for online registration: Friday 8th November 2024.
