DESCRIPTION:All competitors must hold a current BJA or affiliated membership.\nAll competitors MUST bring their VALID judo membership card and RECORD BOOK to registration which shows they meet the minimum grade.\nNO LICENCE = NO CONTESTS = NO EXCEPTION\nPRE–CADETS\nMinimum Grade = 6th Mon\nYear of Birth – 2008 and 2009\nShime-waza and Kansetsu-waza are not permitted in any weight category\nContest times = 3 minutes\nBOYS: -34kg, -38kg, -42kg, -46kg, -50kg, -55kg, -60kg, -66kg, +66kg\nWEIGH IN – 0830-0900\nGIRLS: -32kg, -36kg, -40kg, -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, +63kg\nWEIGH IN – 0930-1000\nCADETS \nMinimum Grade = 9th Mon\nYear of Birth – 2005, 2006 and 2007\nContest times = 4 minutes\nBOYS: -46kg, -50kg, -55kg, -60kg, -66kg, -73kg, -81kg, -90kg, +90kg\nWEIGH IN – 1130-1200\nGIRLS: -44kg, -48kg, -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70kg\nWEIGH IN – 1200-1230\nThe intended method of competition will be Compound Knockout & Repechage for 8 players or more and up to 8 players will be pools. Medals will be presented after each group have finished and not before. Some groups may be combined depending on the number of entries received. Any decisions made on or off the mat throughout the day including any disputes then the decision of the Tournament Director is FINAL.\nBy entering this event, all participants and parents or guardians or participants are consenting to any photography/filming either whilst competing or on medal the podium. These images may be used on our website page.
